IM Divya Deshmukh won the FIDE Women's World Cup 2025! She has qualified for the next Women's Candidates Tournament, earned the GM title, and will take home $50,000! Runner-up GM Koneru Humpy was beaten in the final tiebreaks, but has also secured a spot in the next Women's Candidates Tournament!
GM Tan Zhongyi beat GM Lei Tingjie to take 3rd place in the FIDE Women's World Cup and qualify for the next Women's Candidates Tournament! Finalists IM Divya Deshmukh and GM Koneru Humpy drew both of their classical games and the winner will be decided in the tiebreaks, starting at 08:00 UTC.
